ST inlet device

The ST inlet consists of one or more vane decks and two covers that channel the flow through the lateral slots.
This inlet device is widely used in horizontal and vertical vessels with a high inlet flow rate consisting of a liquid-gas mixture. The two most important effects of the ST inlet on the flow are:

• Initial separation between the liquid and gas phases.
• Uniform and optimal distribution of the gas flow throughout the vessel.
