Inside process columns, support grids may be required to support other internals, such as random packing, while ensuring structural integrity and, at the same time, allowing the gas flow to pass through the grids correctly without significant pressure drop.
These grids can be manufactured in different sizes and materials and, when required, with multiple layers of wire mesh applied to the structure. These internals are generally manufactured according to the customer’s drawings.
